Thanksgiving Hunt

At our recent deacons meeting we came up with
a great idea of how to give thanks along with meeting
some of the church supplies needs. We are having what
we call a "Thanksgiving Hunt". This is a type of scavenger
hunt, that will be the guy's versus the gal's.

Starting on Sunday November 9th we will have a list for
each group. The list will include supplies for the church and a
few other odd things. The first group to fill the list and bring it
to church wins.

Wins what?

A free , home cooked breakfast. That the losing team has to cook...

Good luck to all....

Take - n - Bake Fundraiser

Our very own chef Josh Robarts has come up with
a great idea for our Fall Fundraiser. It is what we
call Take - n - Bake Pumpkin Pie. We are currently taking
orders for the event.

Here's the idea, we will have a homemade pie crust
and the pumpkin pie fixin's all ready for you, so all you
have to do is get up on Thanksgiving morning, pour the
ingredients into the pie crust and place in the oven.
Bam, a homemade pumpkin pie ready to go..

Last day of orders is Sunday November 23rd, with
pick up date of Wednesday Evening November 26th.

Fall Festival 2008

This year's fall festival was great fun and totally rocked. We had
a lot of activities for all the kids. We had a tricycle race, face painting,
ring pop toss and many other games. We also had a lot of give a ways
and did we mention the candy. We gave out a tremendous amount of
candy for all the kids....

Our pumpkin head winner was Kayla Garner with the clown
pumpkin.. Great job Kayla.

Photo of our Spice Kids packing the candy bags for the
Fall Festival. Great job.... Did you eat any of that candy?

Pastor Donnie talks to Trinity about how things are not
what they always appear to be. Trinity had to choose between
the big box or the little bag. She chose wisely.....
1 Sameul 16:7 says that man looks at the outside, but
God looks at the inside or the heart of man....." Remember
appearances are not sometimes what they seem...

Thanks to all who made the Fall Festival a great time
that was safe and fun for our kids......
